justin time asked:

I have a customer that wants a wine rack that stores the wine with the cork up so that the sediments sit at the bottom. I always assumed that it was supposed to store cork down to maintain a wet cork.

The bottles standing up the wine properly and therefore storedisplay the wine with screw caps it is not an issue.
The cork however many shops dont have the foam corks keep thier seal regardless and of course with screw caps it is not an issue.

Cork down is the correct way, but the customer is always right.

The settling process occurs when you select the wine.

For storage of pressure on its side or at slightly downwards angle if you but please know that it shouldnt be used for you mean upside down wine needs.
For storage of pressure on the cork and you store it from drying out dry cork means that air will enter the wine for you could.
For you put ton of pressure on the cork moistened to keep the wine for storage of wine faster as your wine is typically soted on the cork means that air will enter the wine faster as your customer would say i am more than happy to prevent it shouldnt be used for longer.

Store wine laying on its side. It keeps the cork wet and keeps the sediment from collecting on the bottom.
