How long does white wine keep?

I have a bottle of wine from 1996 and was wondering if its still good. Its a 1996 Saint-Veran white burgandy wine. It is unopened and was stored on its side in a wine rack.
Thanks for all the quick response. I am enjoying it right now.

      It should be okay as it sounds like it was cellared correctly.

      The older the wine the better it is if it was stored correctly plus that is if it was stored correctly plus that is only what 13.

      Most white wine is made to be consumed young. However, if it was stored properly, it might be okay. Only way to know is to try some. Either way, it will not hurt you.
