Alyssa Davis asked:

Do you like wine? Along with Chinese and French food, Italian is one of the Big 3’s of international cuisine. However, each region of Italy has its own flavor literally. That is true of both its food and beverages. While less famous for its food, Spain also contains regions that are famous for their wines. When selecting a wall wine rack, consider the different cities of Italy and Spain that produce a cornucopia of wines each with its own distinct flavor:

1. Barcelona:

The Carthaginians founded this Northeast Spanish city along the Mediterranean Sea. Throughout its history, the Romans, Visigoths, Moors, and the Franks have ruled the area. Barcelona is the nation’s second largest city and its biggest port. After becoming an important commercial center of Spain, it even challenged the ports of Italy.

2. Girona

Girona is the capital city of the Girona province. Some of the main industries of the city include chemicals, food, machinery, paper, and textile. This city is older than the Roman Empire. In fact, the city still retains aspects of its Medieval heritage. Its people successfully resisted the French, from 1808-1809.

3. Milan

Consider wines from Milan when selecting a wall wine rack. This city is located in the northern region of Italy. It is likely that the region has Celtic origins. The Roman conquered it during 222 BC. Due to its tactical location, since Medieval times this city has been a center of various industries.

4. Naples

This city is located in the South-Central region of Italy. It sits along the Bay of Naples. The Greeks founded the city at around 600 BC. Then in the 4th century BC, the Romans conquered the region. Today, Naples serves as an Italian center for business, tourism, and culture.

5. Palermo

Palermo is a city located in the northwest part of Sicily, Italy. The Phoenicians founded the city during the 8th century BC. After functioning as a military base of the Carthagians, the Romans conquered it from 254-253 BC. After Arabs controlled the city, it served as the Sicily kingdom’s capital until 1194.

6. Roma

The capital of Italy, Rome is located in the nation’s central region, along the Tiber River. During the time of the Roman Empire, Rome’s authority stretched over other regions, including Cyprus, Jerusalem, Gaul, and Syria. It became Italy’s capital in 1870. Today, Rome serves as Italy’s centers for administration, transportation, and culture.

7. Turin

Celebrate Turin when selecting a wall wine rack. This city is located in the northwestern region of Italy. The Taurini founded it. Hannibal partially destroyed the city in 218 BC. Later, Emperor Augustus made the city a military colony of the Roman Empire. Both Charlemagne and the French controlled the region throughout history. Fashion and automobiles are key industries in Turin.

When wall decorating the walls in your home, consider styles that various cities in Italy and Spain, have inspired. Each region boasts of a unique wine tradition and flavor. Enjoy a taste of Italy or Spain when loading your wall wine rack!

April

m.jeya asked:

The Mint Wine Knot is a seven bottle wine rack for six regular sized bottles and one oversized magnum or champagne bottle. The use of two intersected molded plywood components in birch and walnut allows the Wine Knot to live comfortably in the kitchen, living room or den. This intersecting “knot” of wood creates the pockets for each bottle by working together with its mating component.

The Wine Knot is designed by New York based design firm called Mint. Made of birch and walnut plywood, the Wine Knot is a different take on the standard boxy wine rack designs out there. This interestingly interconnected wine rack is all the more intriguing due to its interplay of shape and color. One section of wood has a natural finish while the other section has a walnut finish, suggestive of shall we say, red wine vs. white wine. Together, the finishes reveal how two simple shapes create an intricate structure.

Adding an organic dash of contemporary barware design to your home, the Wine Knot features 2 curved pieces of wood combined to create this beautiful 7 bottle wine rack. Simply place it on any work surface or table and have your wine bottles help create a piece of modern art! The cheap Mint Wine Knot is a seven bottle wine rack for six regular sized bottles and one over-sized magnum or champagne bottle. The use of two intersected molded plywood components in birch and walnut allows the Wine Knot to live comfortably in any room of the house.

The fashionable modern wine collection is the modern and stylish Knot wine rack. I want to go get a wine rack, which kind is best? I like the look of wroght iron ones more then the wood, but is one better? thanks!

Vincent

Jack Wilson asked:

Since you have bought various bottles of your favorite wine, you will need a place to store or keep them. Whether you are a wine connoisseur or social wine drinker (with limited selection), you need a perfect place to store these precious bottles of wine. There are a plethora of wine racks in the market, but you need to choose the perfect one for your home.

Before buying wine rack, it is important to decide its functionality. If you just need wine rack to store a few bottles of wine, a hanging wine rack would be the best choice. If you need a wine rack to store many bottles of wine, then a large standing wine rack is better. Even up to getting a cellar or a converted basement area that measures at least 3 meters square will easily hold 100 dozen bottles of wine.

The next thing that you should consider is the size. How much space do you want for storing the wine? If you have a large home, then larger wine rack furniture such as a wine buffet style rack or a larger console style rack will be good. But if you are staying in a small place, then a hanging wine rack will be the best option.

Capacity

Another important thing that you need to consider before buying a wine rack is the capacity. Will the wine rack hold the number of wine bottles you typically have on hand and allow for extra bottles for occasional special events?

Above are some of the tips to help you choose the most suitable wine-rack for your home. So, follow the tips and get the best wine-rack!

Veronica

John Thompson asked:

Wine racks have become something that just about anyone wants to purchase and have within their residence. They are offered in a wide variety of styles, shapes and dimensions to fit just about anyones specs.

Adding one to a residence can heighten the homes value and distinguish it from other homes. It can also help to keep wine fresh, undisturbed and easy to access when you need it. You dont have to be a wine lover to find the value in adding a wine rack of some sort to your residence.

Selection: Picking The Ideal Wine Rack For You

Since there are so many different kinds of wine racks to choose from, it makes sense that you would need a little help comprehending which is the Right one for you. Here are some of them and a little info that you need about each one.

Top Of The Line: The top of the line wine racks are those that can be custom assembled in a cellar of your home. These are magnificent choices for individuals who have room to add a room in a cool area of the residence and those that adore wine.

They can be custom built out of the wood types of your preference, fitted for the area that you have chosen and shaped in virtually any form that fits your needs. The bad news is that with any custom work you will also have to pay quite a bit more for it.

Metal Wine Racks: For a more fashionable way of displaying your wine, consider a metal wine rack. These are available in a wide range of sizes and can be used to display your wine in a lavish way, as you would other dcor within your home.

They are often purchased to stand on the floor or they can be purchased as counter top sitters as well. The number of bottles they will hold depends greatly on the size of the wine rack you purchase. Often, they can be purchased in the style you are after. The one drawback to these is that you will need to find a location, out of the way of children, to place it.

Hanging Wine Racks: To take care of that problem with room, you can add a wine rack to your wall or hang it from your ceiling. These are great choices when it comes to adding a little style to your kitchen.

Again, they come in a wide range of sizes and styles, depending on what you like. If you choose these, you will likely get less storage than you would any other method but if you only keep a few bottles on hand, this is ideal.

Environmental Controls: If you are a wine expert, you should consider investing in an environment controlling unit. If you were to build a wine racking system in a cellar, you would be able to add to it climate control. If you are looking for a way to control the environment in your kitchen, you can do this with a wine chest.

These fit under counters like your dishwasher can or they can be stored above the counter in smaller units. They are a critical appliance for your kitchen. These are much more costly than wine racking systems but can keep your wine at the best temperature.

Any and all wine racking systems can be bought online. You will find that custom made options as well as those that are a simple hanging racks are offered to you in the sizes and styles that you really want to have. Wine racks are an excellent choice for upgrading your home.

A toast to the perfect wine rack! Please visit our site for more information on metal wine rack products as well as other racks for storage needs.

Alma

With the display of items that have meaning to you, you draw people into your home and give them a glimpse into your personality. For wine lovers, the display of a beautiful collection can add instant sophistication to any room. And the functionality of a wine rack bar allows you to accomplish this while still maximizing space and providing useful storage.

A wine rack bar serves a dual function, storing and displaying wine bottles, while providing space for serving drinks. It can be a wonderful way to pull a room together, ridding it of clutter, and organizing wine bottles into an effective and usable system.

When choosing a wine rack bar, look first at the overall look of the room in which you will place it.
Barbara Tobiasz asked:

For many people, give them a good vintage bottle of wine and their in what I call euphoric bliss. In order to truly understand why wine is so popular around the world, you would have to collect wine as a hobby. Then after years of personal experience tasting a variety of different wines you would become what is known as a wine connoisseur.

For those of you, and you know who you are, who have collections of fine wine in your home, you are aware that you must store you wine properly in order to preserve the quality of your collection. It is far too easy to let a fabulous vintage turn to vinegar in no time at all.

For those of you who are just starting out, you need to know what you have to do in order to keep your bottled wine from spoiling. It is often said that ignorance is bliss, but ignore your collection of fine wine by standing the bottles straight on a shelf and you will soon see (and taste) how good wine is not supposed to taste.

For the novice wine collector, you are the individual who has a need to know that you have to preserve the cork in the wine bottle by placing the bottle on its side. This will keep the cork from drying out and breaking the seal to the precious wine inside.

You must also know that keeping wine at a cool temperature is a must. Temperatures too warm or too cook will damage your wine. The result is an embarrassing moment when you have friends over, you pop open a treasured vintage and a distasteful expression appears on their faces.

None of this will ever happen if you take good care of your wine collection. An easy way to take care of your vintage wine is to store your wine on a wall mounted wine rack. These wall mounted wine racks are easy to install. Depending on the amount of wine bottles in your collection, you have a variety of sizes, styles and features to make each and every wine bottle in your collection extremely happy to live a long and tasteful life.

So now let’s go over your options and you can see for yourself what type of wall mounted wine rack best fits into your wine collecting lifestyle.

I’m going to start with the Cioso wall-mounted wine bottle holder. This simple straight vertical bar wine bottle holder has eight rings integrated into the bar. There are, of course, enough rings to hold eight bottles of wine by inserting the bottle neck.

If you have a larger collection of vintage wine, then the Deluxe wine & glass wall wine r rack may be something that you may be interested in. This 3-tiered wrought iron wine rack has three shelves that hold 4 bottles per shelf. Also, the bottom of this rack is a wine glass holder that holds the wine glasses upside down by sliding the inverted glass base into the provided slots. Very decorative.

For my last example today, let’s take a look at the Series Twenty-Seven bottle wall mounted wine rack. You guessed it. This wall mounted unit holds 27 bottles of your prime vintage. Much like the Cioso wall-mounted wine bottle holder, this wall mounted rack boasts superior air flow, so all bottles will receive the proper temperature although they are stored three bottles side by side and nine rows tall. Perfect wall mounted unit for slightly larger wine collections.

If you are looking to store larger collections of wine, you might want to look into floor standing wine racks.

Wall mounted wine racks serve two purpose. They help keep your vintage wine from spoiling over time. They also can add a decorative charm to a kitchen or dining room. Those of you who have a passion for fine wine will want to have a wall mounted wine rack in order to show off your good taste.

Roland
