Charcoal walls, black crown molding, Burgundy wood floors?
Filed Under wine racks | Comments Off
We have a 400 square foot family room upstairs with 4 walls and 3 huge windows. We want to have the walls painted dark charcoal, black crown molding and Burgundy wood floors. Has anyone did something similar? We have a dark purple sectional couch that sits 10 people, we have a black coffee table with marble top. We are going to have a black iron wine rack with glass on top. I am just curious at to how it will look.
Ceiling will be white and the blinds are white. We are going to add colorful pics.

Where should the spice rack go when ordering kitchen cabinets?
Filed Under wine racks | Comments Off
I ordered my kitchen cabinets today but forgot a few small things and I’m going back to make some modifications tomorrow. I need to add a stem glass holder below the wine rack. (I don’t know why they didn’t suggest that to me) Also, a spice rack. Should the spice rack go on the door immediate to the left of the cooktop or should I add two of them (2 doors) to the cabinet that’s above the microhood, which is above the cooktop?

What is the reason why the cork was forced out of a bottle of wine?
Filed Under wine racks | Comments Off
The bottle of wine was placed horizontally on a wine rack together with other wine in a non-airconditioned room (temperature about 25 to 27 degree celscius). Today, the cork was forced out of the bottle suddenly, spilling the wine. The bottle was not touched at all.
Can someone explain why the cork was forced out of the 750ml bottle. This is my first experience. I have also not heard of such experience before.

Typo - possible should be possibly.
Can you imagine someone’s DD boobs shrinking right before your eyes as they reel around in a drunken stupor?
These answers are fun. LL would be so topheavy she’d be 90 degress to the floor. LOL
Wine doesn’t make me sleepy….It makes me very amorous and I would be considered a lethal weapon in 2 counties if I had one filled with Spumante.
Harry - if your email was open, I would tell you.

Interpret my dream please?

So, I was in this broken down mansion of places, with a few of my friends, in particular, I remember Cat (friend who’s very energetic and bubbly, and a little immature too). We’re walking down this hallway which is beige colored, and it has wooden molding on the ceiling. It looks like it was very extravagant back in the day. So, we come to this room, which is a little bigger than the width of the hallway (which was pretty large to begin with) there’s two wooden rocking chairs. They’re turning grey, but still brown for now, since they’re wood. Me and Cat run over to sit in the chairs. I rocked a couple times and the back of the chair and the arms broke. It felt like the rest of the seat was going to break soon too. I looked over to Cat and told her to get off, it’s gonna break. But she keeps scooting across the floor in the chair, and it’s not breaking. (Oh, she’s very short too, so she’s pretty light weight.) So, I stopped and looked to the right, and there was a door. I go over to open it. There’s more hallway, but a set of stairs going down are evident at the end. I was pretty hesitant to go down without being able to see what’s at the bottom. But I keep looking and see some wine bottles at the bottom. So I say to my friends that it’s just a wine cellar down there. I go down, and it’s a very small room with some wine racks, some tools for gardening and fixing things, and two tall work tables. Across from the stairs was another door. It was open though. I flipped on a switch to my right and the room beyond the open door brightened up a LOT, and with pretty colors~! It’s a HUGE room. Like, a 3-story high ceiling with fluorescents at the top. I go in, and there’s a bunch of coils of glass that’s actually the lights of the room on the tables. There’s a few of them, and it pretty much looks like a laboratory of sorts. I remember a red one, a blue/green one, and an orange/red one. There was more though. On the tables were some test tubes and other scientific tools of the sort. Not only that, there were coat racks, like in a clothing store. There were lots of old coats hanging up. The only button was at the neck to hold it together, so it was kinda like a cape with sleeves. They looks like some weird military coat. So we all go around trying to find our favorite color and fabric (there was a stretchy fabric, a tough fabric, and a couple others). I think I tried on two, and my favorite was this deep red one that had some kind of symbol on the breast pocket. It was cotton, I think. It was old and itchy and smelled bad of course. Everyone else was still trying on coats. Then, I slowly got a bad feeling, like a creeped out one. I felt like this was all too safe feeling down in this creepy basement of a mansion, like something bad should be happening right then or at least very soon. And then I woke up.
By the way, the colors overall were very drab and faded. The only bright thing was the giant light bulbs, but even then all it lit up was some dank, dark, creepy lab.
And I was with a group of people, but I only remember one of those people (which was Cat [which is a nickname of course]). Other people did not play a main role in my dream. It was more about the location and the mystery of what way ahead down the halls in the mansion.
