I have recently had an ikea kitchen fitted, the kitchen wasnt planned very well and cabinets had to be moved and changed to fit. I have now been left with a 13cm gap. I have been trying to find some wire baskets or a wine rack to fit in this, i quite like the pull out units you can buy but they are 2cm too wide! any other suggestions?

My wine has been at a constant 72 degrees fr 6 weeks now under a blanket. I have not racked the wine yet and I see sediment on bottom of my carboy. Will racking the wine kickstart the fermenting process again? This is my first time making wine so I’m open to suggestions.

I don’t drink wine myself as I get a headache from the tannins or something like that. But I just got a cabinet with a small wine rack in it, and would like to have a few bottles around to offer glasses to guest (instead of a beer, lol).
I have no clue what I should keep on hand. Can you offer advice on what to chose for a half a dozen bottles? I’d like to keep it under $150 if possible.
Thanks!!

Chris asked:

my mom has a big fancy wine bottle and she just used all of the wine at a christmas party. now she wants to fill the fancy bottle back up with a new bottle of red wine. (probably a Zin) if she simply pours in the new wine and re-corks it will it be able to sit on a wine rack for years to come with out going bad?
